Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026 · Effective: June 16, 2026
Wedulting (“Wedulting,” “we,” “us”) is
a household-coordination iOS app operated by Briguy LLC. This policy
explains what personal information we collect,
why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We
wrote this policy to be readable rather than lawyerly. If anything is
unclear, email
support@wedulting.com.
1. Information we collect
1a. Information you provide directly
-
Email address. When you sign in using Continue with
Google or Continue with Apple, we receive the email address
associated with that account. We use it to identify you to your
partner inside your household and to enable account recovery.
-
Name. You may enter your name (and an avatar
emoji) in the app. This is shown to your partner so you can tell
each other’s activity apart in the shared feed.
-
Your partner’s name and contact info. When you
pair with a partner, your partner’s name and email become
associated with your household. We treat partner information with
the same protections as your own.
-
Household content. The tasks, meals, groceries,
calendar events, and meal plans you create inside the app.
This content is visible to you and your paired partner only.
1b. Information collected automatically
-
Device identifiers for push notifications. When you
opt in to push notifications, we store an Apple Push Notification
service (APNs) token and a OneSignal player ID so we can send
partner-activity notifications to your device. These identifiers are
tied to your Wedulting account on our server. We do not use them
for advertising or cross-app tracking.
-
Authentication metadata. Our authentication
provider (Supabase Auth) logs sign-in events — timestamp,
method (Google / Apple), and IP address — for security
purposes (detecting suspicious access patterns).
-
Subscription and purchase information. Wedulting
offers a paid subscription, with a free trial, for your household.
When you start a trial or subscribe, Apple processes the
payment through the App Store — we never receive or store your
credit card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage
subscriptions and to tell our server whether your household’s
subscription is active. RevenueCat receives the App Store transaction
(the product purchased, purchase and expiration dates, and trial
status) associated with your household identifier, so that a
subscription purchased by one partner unlocks the app for both. It
does not receive your payment details or household content.
-
Crash and diagnostic data. We use Sentry to collect
crash reports and basic stability diagnostics — the device
model, OS version, and a stack trace of what the app was doing when
it crashed — so we can find and fix bugs. Crash reports are
associated with your account identifier (so we can tell whether a fix
worked) but contain no household content.
-
Product usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand
how the app is used so we can improve it — for example, which
steps of sign-up people complete and whether notifications get
enabled. We record specific in-app events (such as “signed
in” or “created a household”) tied to your account
identifier. We do not record your screen, and we have
turned off automatic capture of taps and session recording. Analytics
is first-party and is never used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
We do not collect: your contacts, photos, microphone
audio, precise location, advertising identifiers, biometric data, or
any information about other apps on your device. Wedulting does
not track users across other companies’ apps
or websites.
2. How we use your information
- To run the app. Your email, name, and household content are used to provide the features you signed up for: signing in, syncing with your partner, planning meals, tracking groceries, etc.
- To authenticate you. Your Google or Apple account verifies your identity via OAuth.
- To send push notifications. When your partner adds, edits, or completes shared items, we use your device tokens to deliver an in-app push notification. You can disable these in iOS Settings at any time.
- To provide your subscription. To start your free trial, process your subscription through the App Store, and unlock the app for both partners in your household.
- To protect the service. To detect abuse, prevent unauthorized access, and respond to security incidents.
3. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the
service providers that make the app work, listed below. Each provider
operates under its own privacy policy and is contractually bound to
process data only on our instructions.
-
Supabase, Inc. — database, authentication, and
file storage. Your account and all household content live here, in
Supabase’s US-East data center.
-
OneSignal, Inc. — delivery of push
notifications to your device. Receives APNs tokens and a
Wedulting-generated player ID.
-
Apple Inc. — APNs delivers push to your iPhone;
Sign in with Apple verifies your identity if you use that method; and
the App Store processes your subscription payment.
-
Google LLC — Continue with Google verifies your
identity if you use that sign-in method.
-
Anthropic, PBC — when you use the
“turn a meal into a grocery list” feature, the meal name
you typed is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to extract a
structured ingredient list. Anthropic does not train models on
this content. No account identifiers are sent.
-
Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — crash
reporting and stability diagnostics. Receives crash reports,
device/OS metadata, and your account identifier. Does not receive
household content.
-
PostHog, Inc. — product usage analytics.
Receives the in-app usage events described above and your account
identifier, stored in PostHog’s US Cloud. Does not receive
household content; session recording is disabled.
-
RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription management.
Receives your App Store transaction information and your household
identifier to determine whether your household’s subscription
is active. Does not receive your payment card details or household
content.
We may also disclose information if required by law (subpoena, court
order) or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wedulting,
its users, or the public.
4. Where your data is stored
Wedulting data is hosted in the United States by our providers above
(primarily Supabase’s US-East region). If you use Wedulting from
outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed
in the US.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When
you delete your account (see Section 6), we delete your email, name,
partner association, and all household content. Wedulting does
not currently maintain automated database backups, so account
deletion is effectively immediate and permanent.
Sign-in records (timestamp, sign-in method, IP address) maintained
by our authentication provider may be retained for security and
abuse-prevention purposes.
Subscription and transaction records held by Apple and RevenueCat are
retained under their respective policies for billing, tax, and
fraud-prevention purposes, independent of your Wedulting account.
6. Your rights and how to exercise them
-
Access. You can see all the data we hold about you
— it’s the contents of the app. To request a copy in
machine-readable form, email
support@wedulting.com.
-
Correction. Edit your name, partner pairing, and
household content directly in the app.
-
Deletion. Open the Wedulting app → Settings
→ Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and
content. You may also email
support@wedulting.com
to request deletion.
-
Opt out of push notifications. iOS Settings
→ Notifications → Wedulting → Allow Notifications: off.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA,
including the right to know what categories of personal information
we collect and to request deletion. The rights and mechanisms above
satisfy these requests; we do not sell personal information.
Residents of the EU/EEA and UK have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR,
including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability,
and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our
lawful basis for processing is performance of a contract (running the
app you signed up for) and, where applicable, your consent (push
notifications).
7. Children
Wedulting is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we
learn that a child under 13 has provided us personal information, we
will delete it.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS) and at rest in our
providers’ databases. Access to production data is limited to
Brian Naide. We follow Supabase’s row-level security model so
that one user’s data is never readable by another user via the
API. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect a vulnerability,
please email
support@wedulting.com.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the
“Last updated” date at the top and, for significant
changes, surface a notice inside the app. Continued use of Wedulting
after the effective date of an updated policy constitutes acceptance.
